Development Site Surveys

When planning a development where there are trees in close proximity it is important to consider the value and enhancement that trees can bring.

We survey the trees in accordance with the current British Standard BS5837:2005 'Trees In Relation To Construction - Recommendations'. We determine trees suitable for retention then produce a tree constraints plan, a tool to advise the designers of the development the best way to achieve harmony between the trees and the construction. Once the design has been finalised we will produce an arboricultural method statement that will specify the position and design of the tree protection that will remain in place throughout the development process.
